Where are my MSN News and MSN Weather WP 8.1 apps?

I recently had to factory reset my Lumia Icon to resolve a reboot loop problem. Since then, I lost my MSN News and Weather apps and they're not showing up on the store. Cortana would give me a link to the store but when I click it, it says "Item not available". Anyone having same issue? Thanks.

I noticed the News app is "unavailable" for Windows 10 as well. I uninstalled it and went to re-install it and it was marked as unavailable. Guessing it's a short term problem and will be resolved soon. I plan on checking back this evening.

I'm in the same situation. Factory resetted my Lumia 830, now most MSN apps are not available in store. I really hope it's temporary because I use them

I was only able to update the Weather app on my 8.1 phones by uninstalling it first. The News app won't finish installing at all even after uninstalling it first. I get an 'Attention required' message with an error code. Since it's the same on both phones, I also assume the problem is on their end.

Weather works for me now but like Eric, News appears on the store now but still unable to install it.

the telltale sign for me (that it is still a problem) is that the app icon in the store is just blank/black tile.

It's like that on WP8.1 too. Can only assume a Store issue.

Another app (OneCalendar) also won't update, this time with a different error message. I'll wait a while before I factory reset since it seems to be a Store problem.

The News app just installed, but the main story and headlines say there is no network connection. Everything else seems to load correctly.

The other app still doesn't install.
