Where are the UPDATES to OFFICIAL Win10M?

Since getting Win10M for my 735 officially from Verizon last month single update to the OS. I thought after getting the official release we would start getting regular updates just as is done on PC. I see weekly updates of the Insider builds, but where are the updates to fix the many bugs that exist in the official released version of Win10M? Yeah, the Anniversary update it on its way and brings a whole bunch of new features, but I'm sure it will also bring a slew of bugs along with it.

Why not invest in the release a bit more and get rid of some of these bugs?

You are asking the wrong people.
Ask Verizon: as At&T they delay everything. Official W10 is quite stable and udated twice a month, Fast Ring insider is updated from once to twice a week

Try unbranding your phone via firmware loading

I AM NOT ON INSIDER BUILD.

Microsoft controls the updates now, not Verizon. I am asking about OS, not Firmware. The pitch was MS would update the phone just as they do the pc with regular bug fixes. I am asking where are they? It is not stable. I have text messaging freezes, Cortana works sometimes, and people have reported other issues here and there.

I am asking in the Win10M forum. The only other people to ask are Microsoft themselves. If I go directly to the Microsoft 1st, what the heck are these forums for? I am frustrated, have questions, and am asking.

Thank you in advance.

Official Windows 10 Mobile builds come out at the same time, no matter the device. The reason it hasn't gotten an update in recent months, however, is because the Anniversary Update is vastly approaching. Yes, it may have some bugs, but when it does come out, it'll get monthly updates to fix those bugs, and add any last minute new features (remember, Skype and Messaging hasn't been merged, yet, so that'll be something new after August 2nd).

Wrong. Some carriers still delays updates with some "carrier testing" excuses. I'm talking about SW, not FW. Do an extended forum and Google search, you'll discover how AT&T and friends delayed for months Win10 upgrade program, on some areas they totally "forget" that.

I'm on Twitter, and I follow Dona Sarkar, so I'm pretty sure how updates are going up. ;) Try asking her or her predecessor Gabe Aul.

These Forum aren't owned by MS

Windows 10 for PC and Mobile, TH2 production 10586, has gotten on average about one update per month since its release. Usually but not always, these coincide with or come soon after Patch Tuesday, the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Because you upgraded only a month ago, you haven't seen this. Let us know next Wednesday or so whether you've gotten an update.

Sorry, but you are wrong about that. Carriers delay firmware, and they also have delayed the initial rollout of Windows 10. But once Windows 10 is on the device, the carrier has no say anymore about OS updates, only firmware.

Thanks for clarifying that mod

I'm not a mod, just an ambassador.

Trying to correct everything wrong on the internet is an endless task.

Thank you PepperdotNet... that is exactly what I thought I was saying, but apparently not clear enough. Once Win10M hits the device MS controls the update to the OS. The entire point because carriers used to delay it so much.

Agreed, I have only been on Win10M for about a month and I thought maybe they were delaying any further updates until the Anniversary Update, but that is why I am asking in here. Makes sense. Just frustrating that I have not seen a little something since updating to fix some of these quirks.

I have only been on Win10M for about a month

If you have 10586.420 you are current with Official.

As PepperdotNet said, nothing expected until Patch Tuesday (2nd Tuesday each month). On Release Ring (the test bed for current branch) they've had 10586.456 since June 29. It has been well received, so far as I can tell.

I expect that next Tuesday Official will see something similar in build number...

Don't compare the speed of Official vs Insider Fast and Slow Ring builds... They are in an accelerated Bug Bash mode to get Anniversary Update ready. That is Redstone builds and a different branch from Official on Threshold builds.

Ever since official Windows 10 Mobile has landed, the cumulative updates has for the most part coincided together with the PC update.

Both my phone and PC updated to Build 10586.420 some 2 weeks ago so I think that's a good thing.

2nd Tuesday of every month you'll get patched, I don't see that's the fuss, we've been getting things pretty good of recent and anniversary update right around the corner, Dona Sarkar is doing an awesome job ,sometimes giving out more insider builds to surprise us, you're talking about production build, that's once a month, you should get it between 12th & 15th no doubt, relax and chill!
