Where's the date?!

After a recent Windows 10 update on my laptop and my work computer the date no longer shows on the taskbar. The clock is visible and the calendar pops up when you click on it, but no date. No settings were changed by me and everything is enabled as far as I can tell.

Anyone else having this? Is this just some sort of glitch or is there something I am missing to bring the date back?

Thank you!

Have you tried changing the theme color? I'm seeing the date perfectly well in my Windows 10 PC.

Thank you for your reply.

I believe I have found the issue. It appears as though there is a limit on characters in the date/time area of the taskbar in Windows 10. I have my date set in the d MMMM yyyy format. When I changed it to d MMM yyyy the date reappeared. When I switch it back, the clock shifts down a little and the date vanishes again. Being that September has many characters, it wasn't noticed until now.

Thank you again for your reply and suggestion.
