Storage sense , Lumia storage checker is buggy and display odd results. It is not yet optimized for wp8.1.

I need Storage check on the 521 to manage maps for now.
Unless Storage sense gets updated to manage maps and other features in the future.

They might be using different definitions for "other". If one takes a closer look, you can see that System on the left, for example, is 2.6GB vs 1.9 GB on the right. That accounts for 700 MB right there.
