Which phone should I get the Lumia 535 or Lumia 630?

Lumia 535 or Lumia 630

I need to recommend a smartphone to my mom, and I'm doubting between the Lumia 535 and the 630.
On paper the 535 is better, but there seem to be touchscreen issues. Has this been resolved yet?

On another note, my father wants to upgrade from his Lumia 900. I think I'll recommend the 730/735 to him because he wants a good camera.
Any opinions on this?

There are updates that resolve the issue with the screen for the 535 so I would recommend it. As for the 735, I have that phone as well and it is a great running phone. It feels sturdy, never gets hot, and the battery life is great. It also takes good pictures. The front cam is a definite plus too!

Yeah there's been an update to fix the issue. But I've also heard that it didn't fix the issue for most people.
