Just having my i5 128/4GB shipped to me from the Netherlands, with the beautiful Alcantara Burgundy keybord, which is still really hard to get in Europe, it seems - not even the German and UK stores have it yet. Hell, I might be the first Polish owner of this color, as it was released just yesterday, excluding Poland.
The device will be used for some occasional translation jobs in the field. I am still a little anxious about RAM being an issue, but reason tells me that - given the 300 euros price difference, and my use cases - it wouldn't make too much sense for me to get the 8GB version (or I just wasn't patient enough to save up a little!). Though I might regret my impatience when I get to open a 400 pages doc file on the Surface. I am considering returning it if it happens to be really disappointing compared to my regular 8GB/i5 Haswell PC. But since I don't do that much multitasking, and I'm not the 30-browser tabs-at-once kinda guy, I think I will be fine.
The device made a really huge impression on me at the local store, with its ultra-crisp display and overall design. The Macbooks standing right next to it really somewhat paled in comparison in my eyes, which already says a lot.
