- Huawei Ascend W1 (returned due to SIM issues)
- Lumia 520
- Lumia 820 (Used this one the longest, bought as replacement for aging 520)
- HTC One M8 for Windows (upgrade from 820, still using this one with W10M happily)
I received my first windows phone from my dad, Lumia 925 (white) which he's used for more than a year. After it completed it's warranty period, I made mistake of opening it up while it was updating (I was pretty bored while going back and forth between 8.1 and 10)
Now I purchased a un-used display unit Lumia 920 (Black) which is basically the same phone with built-in wireless charging and more storage.
I've always adored the cornered designs of Nokia Lumia phones. I'm now running the insider 10 on it and witnessing how an almost 4 years old phone gets seriously timed out... That's not because how the new OS is slow or anything, it's just that the old processor wouldn't be eligible for decent support from Microsoft, understandably.
I'm still not that comfortable with the idea of getting a new windows phone though, that's my idea of ' jumping ship'. I'll probably go for another unused Nokia Lumia 1520, 830 or a 930 if I could find one, until the end of this year.
I have owned and used the following windows phones for a multitude of reasons.
WinPhan for life!!!
HTC HD7
HTC Radar
Nokia Lumia 920 (6 of them since Best Buy was so terrible at refurbishing them.
Nokia Lumia 1020
Nokia Lumia 1520
Nokia Lumia 830
Nokia Lumia 635 (for beta testing)
Microsoft Lumia 950
Lumia 520 to test winphone 8 but decided to wait of winphone 8.1
Kicked fu.... Android
Lumia 925
Lumia 930
Lumia 830 still my phone
Lumia 735
Lumia 640XL
Lumia 650 to test winphone 10 but Hardware from 830 fits better to me (double-wake-up-tab, camera button, qi charging)
Waiting on roll out of win 10 for Lumia 830 and new win 10 phones
Couldn't wait on Microsoft to get it together, now I have the S7 edge. And this phone is the ****! ******* awesome. I still love the windows OS better. But Microsoft does not have a clue on what the **** there doing.
I owned Samsung focus, 620, 920 and now I am thinking of moving to different platform because it's been more than a year and there is no official release updates from Microsoft and also the app support is not being provided as compared to other platform. I was a biggest fan of windows phone and used only Windows phone as my smartphone since I started using smartphone but it seems like, will have to move ahead with different platform.
