The reason I am gun shy of WM.
First phone was Samsung Omnia II with windows mobile. Within a year of when I bought it, it was abandoned by everyone involved with the phone, Samsung, Verizon, and good old Microsoft who abandoned the mobile platform entirely. Remember Windows Phone? I used a stylus! And it was customizable.
Decided to try again when Microsoft "committed" to the mobile platform and bought a Lumia Icon which was abandoned within a year by everyone involved with the phone, Nokia, Verizon, and once again Microsoft because they couldn't deliver any updates to this phone especially because they did not have enough leverage with Verizon to keep them from "retiring" that phone within a year of when I bought it. I really liked the "new" windows mobile platform but it was and still is an app dessert.
