For the most part I am satisfied with TMO. I have had good service overall with them for the last 16 years.
Every time I've bought a Windows p[hone from T-mo I've had them try to dissuade me from buying it. The last time I had top threaten to walk out. I know we're not the only ones. That's why I buy unlocked if the phone I want is available. Concerning the extra fee, I would take it higher and see if that really is corporate policy. If it is, people need to spread the word that the "Uncarrier" is acting like a carrier.I'm not so sure he wasn't the manager. Even so, for him to so openly try to dissuade someone from buying a Windows phone because, "Windows phones are dead." I thought that was very tacky and unprofessional.
I know salespeople have a difficult job, but to start adding a $20 "automatic fee" onto anything sold in the store is just a blatant "screw you" to the customer. No, I'll be making my purchases online.
Me too. Fourteen years and no problems except for the retail stores not wanting to sell me the phone I want. For the most part I am satisfied with TMO. I have had good service overall with them for the last 16 years.

Were you already a T-mobile customer, or a new customer?I already did, it is a corporate policy. Ordering online is the only way to avoid it. But then you get stuck having to pay $10 for a "SIM Starter Kit". Ugh, I GUESS that's better than $20...
My local T-Mobile store finally got a couple in stock, so I went to go and buy one. When the guy was ringing it up there was a $20 customer service fee. I asked what that was for and the guy said, "Oh, that's an automatic service charge for anything we sell in the store." WTF!?!
Considering this guy told me, "Why would you want to waste your money on a Windows phone? Windows is dead when it comes to phones." - why in the world would I drop an extra $20 likely for him as a commission when he was trying to NOT sell me the phone? I told him, "No, just cancel it. I'll go and buy it online and they also have free shipping right now."
No sarcasm intended. For what my wife and I payed on T-Mo for the two of us I now have 5 lines. Every line added gets a deeper and deeper discount instead of just multiplying the same price. I even get credits toward service for referring people and have done so. I've saved an additional $50 in the last few months. All the signal issues I had on T-Mo (can't make/receive calls inside my house without WiFi, can't count on a connection outside of cities around where I live), those issues are resolved with the new carrier. So instead of making me invest in alternate delivery methods like WiFi and signal boosters for their otherwise intermittent service (or going without in crucial travel situations) my service is just delivered first hand and more reliably saving me worry as well as money.Cleanup on aisle 5. Stage 1 sarcasm drippings.

Can't u call and get it credited towards ur bill? They charged me $20 for the sim card and they credited it to my billIt's a new thing with the Magenta Morons. It started about a month ago and it blows.

Interesting. I ordered online and am an existing T-Mobile customer. I was only charged the $469.99 for the phone +sales tax. No fee at all. My phone came with a sim card set, but I already had an existing T-Mobile nano sim that I'm using.

Don't you know you can go blind?Minus the screen as well as it had a qHD instead of the FHD. Not huge but still noticeable. I'm ok with it because of the price. But miss it when using the VR for porn.
