Lumia 1520 AT&T Unlocked

2 hours in and I am at the spinning gears....nearly complete. Hoping this goes well from here.

Trying to have patience, but it is difficult. In two hours I am on a flight from GIG to JFK. If the on-board wifi does not work (it happens) then I am screwed upon arrival back into the USA.

The Hey Cortana settings app opens for me, but I cannot train Cortana for some reason. When I start the training it clearly can hear my voice, it just comes back with "sorry, I didn't catch that"... Also the landscape screen flashing bug still appears to be here... (Lumia Icon, no hard reset, 10572 -> 10581)

Bummer, I was able to train Hey Cortana and it works great on my Icon.

How's the camera? And does video recording now record sound too? Had that problem on my 930.

Okay, this is annoying. HTC OneM8, 10536, and my phone for the last hour insists there are not updates available in Windows Update. (And yes, I'm in the Fast Ring.) Ideas?

Are you certain the Windows Insider app is installed?

In 15 minutes I went from the spinning gears to operational!

Windows store is updated Windows Camera and Facebook Beta successfully. Motion Data, Glance Screen, and Lumia Help & Tips still failed to update.

Unable to restart error 0x8024a112, so switched off and on manually and tapped Restart again. Worked. Now standin by gears

I got this as well... hmm... if it works for you I guess I'll try and restart the phone. Hope it works! I blame you if I brick mine.

I've found a very annoying bug on my 930. My outlook emails sync...nothing else does! Absolutely none of my phone numbers come across. I've added my account. I've also done a hard reset and wipes my phone and still nothing. Most annoying.

EDIT - I have noticed that my default outlook account doesn't have toggles for contacts or calender. Email is there and working fine. All my other non-outlook accounts have the contacts and calendar toggles. Any idea what's wrong??

There is a second update after the first one. So far only seen that LockScreen is still not fixed, only text moves...

It's not a bug. It's supposed to be this way.

Here is my review.

Tile/Lockscreen notification are fixed, plus Wide Live-Tiles are back.
Lockscreen Lock/Unlock and interactions are a LOT faster now.
Glance is working again. (Still can't be updated)
Action Centre is even MORE responsive than 10572. Everything is a LOT faster than 10572. App startups are ridiculously fast. I had no idea W10M could reach this power...
Alright, a couple more apps joined Glance in the can't-update issue. Network, Touch, Rater Your Device, Audio. (This can be device related.)
I'll try to update this post with things I discover.

Good to hear. I was surprised how much I missed that function, I didn't think I used it that much. Installing 10581 on my Icon now!

Did anyone's download stall? My Icon has been sitting at 63% for quite a while. Traffic? My wifi is active there is just no progress.

Looking good so far. Transitioning is as smooth as it's been this far. The biggest surprise is that I didn't have to wait for my apps to reload and haven't seen anything flaky enough to warrant a hard reset. Also I didnt have to wait for my groove music collection to reindex. It was almost like an in-place update as opposed to a fresh install. We're getting close...

The install happened much smoother (no black screen of eternity)

Some of my email accounts are now syncing properly whereas they were not with the previous two builds.

The "glance" selection in settings is functional again.

Overall speed and finish improvements.

Safe Search still cannot be disabled.

So I have a Lumia 920, download progressed very quickly, then sat at Preparing for install 0% for about 15 minutes, jumped to 21% for about 15 minutes, and then offered a reboot. Been at the gears for about 30 minutes now and the bar is about 90% across.

Coming from build 10536, and really hopeful for this upgrade. 10536 was so slow and buggy with constant crashes I almost went back the 8.1. Hoping for glance working I really miss that. Will update further when it's done!

Yes, it was broken. Thanks for noticing, because others thought I was the only one... But, yeah, it works now.

Wow! Fast update compared to the last two and ALL my apps work and no need to reinstall or even log into them�� Operation is FAST! Love it!

You should upgrade. 10572 was broken. It was fast, but broken in many ways. 10581 is way better, although they ruined a couple of other things that were working in the previous build...
