Why am I not able to connect to wifi even though I know the password?

[Windows Central Question]

i crack a WPA2 wifi password in my university provided network but even the password is correct i am not able to connect to that wifi. on the other hand i can connect to other wireless netwroks except the cracked one.
please tell me how i can connect to that network.

I don't think anyone is going to answer this question because what you are technically trying to do is illegal.
