Why am I unable to install messenger?

Cant install Messenger

I have decided to leave the windows 10 preview for a while and reset my Lumia 950. now I cant install Messenger. If I try from the store it offers install, but then says its already installed and offers "Open" but nothing happens... its not in the list of apps either so I cant delete it .. any suggestions ?

try a soft reset and see if that works
And what version of OS are you on?

I tried soft reset several times ! I decided to hard reset the phone a second time and its working ok now .. really odd error
