Why are my contacts closing automatically?

when i try to make a call in my Microsoft lumia 640XL when i try to click the contact name it close automatically i cant make any calls if i wanna make a call i have you the call history, from call history i can make calls but not from contacts i did soft reset unpin the live icon soft reset again but its still the same am fed up with this phone

If soft reset does not work, you could try removing the battery and let it sit for about 5 minutes to ensure all power is drained. Insert battery and power it on and try again. If not, I'd do a hard reset.

If you're using Windows 10 Preview, all the more reason to do a hard reset.
