Why aren't I receiving Whatsapp notifications on my Lumia 640XL?

i can not receive notification on whatsapp lumia 640XL

i am using Lumia 640XL. i use to have an iphone 4 i always receive notification with iphone but using lumia i could not receive whatsapp notification. specially when i do not use the phone for 30 min or above

i use home wifi
i have this problem with windows 8 update 2 and windows 10
i perform soft reset and still have same problem
i reached whatsapp support and they said that the problem is from windows servers

-Turn off Battery Saver.
If you want to switch on the battery saver,then under WhatsApp (any app)... Tick the both options.

-In settings, go to notifications+action tab, under desire app

You need to allow whatsapp to run in background for enabling the notifications. Go to battery saver app, click on whatsapp & the set the slider 'allow app to run in background' to ON
