Why can't I connect?

why cant I connect?

I just got a Windows Phone, I can connect to the internet fine and I am connected to wifi but when I try to log in the app store it says "We're having a problem with signing in. Make sure that you have a good reception. If you do, the problem may be at the other end. Wait a little while and try again." I dont think its on the other since it wasn't working yesterday either
