Why can't I get the Shareit app to work?

cannot work the Shareit app.. can anyone help?

I am using Lumia 530. Installed the Shareit app... But it doesn't seem to connect, keeps on showing check wlan settings. Tried by switching on the wifi.. But same results. Please if anyone could help regarding this matter.. Thanks.
