Why can't I open messages, any apps or contacts on my Lumia 625?

Cannot open messages, any apps or contacts on limia 625

I have a NOKIA LUMIA 625
I CANNOT open anything on my home screen or in anywhere.... the screen moves and then comes back to same place....

I CANNOT text, make a call, open any applications or change screen to another place.

I CAN ONLY receive calls, although numbers are o longer recognised.

it did this 2 months ago for about a week and then next morning returned to normal :-(

I AM DESPERATE NOW AS I CANNOT AFFORD A NEW PHONE.

Have you tried restarting your phone or performing a soft reset on it?

Restart - power off, power on
Soft reset - press the volume down and power buttons together until your phone reboots

You may want to create a Windows Central account to be able to reply to this thread easily. It would also make fixing your problem easier.
