Why does my Nokia Lumia 430 (new) use international assist when I try to dial out?

My Nokia lumia 430 (new) uses international assist when I try to dial out

How do I set it to dial locally?
At the moment it puts +44 in front of the number.(I'm in South Africa, (+27)

1. tap phone tile.
2. tap ellipsis ( . . . ).
3. tap settings.

there you will see the option to disable International assist.
