When ever I try to take a screenshot with my phone it always says "couldn't take screenshot" and idk why. Please help.

I think your device has software glitch. So I will suggest you first delete cookies of your device then do a soft reset by pressing voldown and powerkey for 10 sec .
If issue sustain thentake a backup and rest your device
