Why don't I have a keyboard in tablet mode?

No keyboard in tablet mode

New Surfacebook. Using latest version of Firefox. In tablet mode there's no keyboard icon at the bottom right of the screen or anyplace else that I can see. I have cleared cache of everything. I have gone to settings - typing and everything under touch keyboard is on. But still, no keyboard. What's next?

Right click taskbar, is Show Keyboard Button checked?
