I am getting the same error. Tried deleting and re-installing. Same error. Tried on another PC, same error. Does anyone know what the error '0x80091007 - The hash value is not correct' means. I am desperate as my touch screen has stopped responding and it has been suggested that I use the tool to re-install the OS.

Dimples,

Is your box running Windows 7? Did you see the Knowledge Base I linked... There are some good comments as well.

Either make sure SCCM is up to date... Or try a RAM diagnostic tool to see if you have bad RAM.

That's about all I can find on this issue...

My research around this and similar issues leads me to believe that most likely this is related to digital driver signing... Toggling the check off and on under Windows 7 is not so easy... My research is also showing me that many who attempt this garble the command line syntax and bork their peripheral devices...

Since my research has not proven conclusive on an instruction set I'll just point your search into the right area (disable digital driver signing windows 7 + enable digital driver signing windows 7) and advise you to proceed with all due caution.

That video didnt solve my issue with the hash value error. I have tried on 8.1 and 7 but still facing the same issues. Also, I had deleted the cache and temp folder data and retried it, but in vain.

Please give any solutions.
