Why have I been unable to open my People App for some days now?

Can't open people app for some days now

I have a Lumia 520 running Windows Phone 8.1. For some days now I cannot open people app anymore.
Already tried soft reset and hard reset with no success.
Sync with my outlook account is working fine.

you did the factory reset and it didn't help?

Last option would to be to try using windows device recovery tool
