why is my app store asking for my family?

my parents did not put a "my family" on my phone but the app store wont let me install any apps until I get it but I cant get it because no one else in my family have Microsoft except me and my sister and I set up her phone the same way I set up mine and they are the same phone and she does not need "my family" to download apps. someone please tell me how to remove this.

More than likely, when your parents set up your Microsoft Account, they told the account how old you are. Being below a certain age puts restrictions on your account, and your phone may have to be set up with it in order to download apps.

This is something you'll need to speak to your parents about.
