Why is my HTC One M8 sending multimedia with texts?

Hey everyone, so I recently purchased the Verizon unlocked m8 and I cannot for some odd reason send any pics through text messaging although I have that option enabled from my service provider (telus). I am a Canadian resident but im sure that wont matter, this phone should work with my carrier so long as it supports the bands. Anyways I had to manually enter my internet apn settings to get my data working, maybe I have to enter something else manually to make my pics through text work?

1. Make sure your MMS APN is set up right too. There's typically data and MMS APN settings.

2. Verizon phones don't play well with tethering and MMS on AT&T here in the US, so I would think it may apply to other carriers.

Verizon firmware has shut you out from configuring MMS. I've not heard of a workaround at all.
