Lumia 521 suddenly having network problems

Hello,
I've had a nokia Lumia 521 with t-mobile service since last december. It hasn't been dropped or damages in any way (I bought a beefy case right from the start)

Last week my phone began losing cellular signal. It will have full bars and 4G immediately after being restarted but rapidly lose signal down to nothing. This is happening in places where I normally have full service all the time.

The wifi is functioning properly.

I've tried reinstalling the software using the nokia software recovery tool. This did not solve the problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I've taken very good care of this phone and I wanted it to last more than a year.

Have you contacted T-Mobile? Perhaps there are towers being serviced.

You also might want to get a new SIM from T-Mobile. When I've had connectivity problems in the past, a new SIM has solved the problem.
