Why is my Lumia 720 battery draining very quickly?

My LUMIA 720 Battery draining very Quickely

hi , From last 2 days my mobile battery draining very quickly (lumia 720 Cyan 8.1 update) usually it will come for 2 days ,
but from last 2 days it coming only for 7-8 hrs if it is in stand by mode,
please help me

I would recommend looking at Battery Sense, this will show what apps are running in the background.
You could also try a Soft Reset (Volume Down + Power button for 10 seconds) to clear any memory issues, a Soft Reset does not erase the device.

But does sound like your running too many apps in the background...

The same thing's happening to my 720. I charge it to a full 100% and in like half and hour without me touching it, it drops to 98, 96, 90 and so on. Checked with Battery saver and background running apps too.

Try pressing and holding Volume Down and Power Button for 10 seconds. This will soft reset your phone.
No data will go. Only temporary memory and cache will be cleared

Are you using the official Nokia charger? As I've had similar issues before when using a cheap alternative (when at someone's house).

Yep, using a Nokia Charger only. But this has started since a week. And many apps have been updated recently !
