Why isn't my newest Whatsapp version working?

Newest Whatsapp version not working

Hello.

I don't know what version of Whatsapp I had on my Nokia Lumia 520, but it was working fine until a few minutes ago when an update installed version 2.12.60.0. Now the application doesn't work. When I click on it, it immediately crashes and the phone returns to the Start screen. I've restarted the phone, uninstalled the application and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Strange.
Is your phone OS up to date? 2.12.60.0 was recently released by the WhatsApp team. It is the most recent version

Have the same problem. After updating to the latest version, WhatsApp crashes immediately Have tried these solutions which do NOT work:
- Remove and reinstall WhatsApp
- Reset phone completely and start from scratch.

Both things did not work. My phone is a Nokia Lumia 620.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

My phone is a Nokia Lumia 620.
I have updated the whatsapp to 2.12.60.0, the latest one.
To my surprise nothing is working, not even able to wahtsapp...
Some one plz suggest ...How to overcome this problem.

That include my L620 too.

But here it works after few crashes.
It crashes 2-5 times and then it work.

And it's not just WhatsApp other apps crashes too.
including Xbox Music app.

Are you on tp or 8.1 if tp how well the latest build run on the little phone???

My phone is running on WP8.1
OS version: 8.10.14219.341
