Why isn't the scan of my sd card showing photos or videos?

about sd card

when i switch on my phone i fot one warning message...(i.e)scan your memory card..anf fix the problem..when i click to scan it..after the scanning process my phone microsoft lumia535 does not display any photos or videos...what i want to do..help me

Your SD card is probably corrupted.
Get it out your phone and place it in the card reader from your PC and check it on errors.
The PC may be able to fix the errors. If the errors can not be fixed try to format your SD card and if that still does not help your SD card is broken.
Several SD card manufacturers give warranty on their cards so get a replacement.

This is how I fix my problem. Take your SD out from your phone. Use regular format(not quick format) in windows to re-format your SD (FAT32 below 32GB, exFAT above 64GB). A more secure way, re-flash your Lumia using Nokia recovery tool before you put in back your SD card(sometimes OTA update do give bugs and problems) Reply back your result after trying this method. Thanks.
