Why the hell does my Nokia Lumia resend old texts that I have deleted to my contacts!!

Okay, so I have deleted threads countless times but still my contacts will receive old texts added on to a text I have just sent. It is happening all the time and is seriously pissing me off!

something similar happened to me. try soft reset, after that you need only to set time and date if they are not set to be automated by operator.

Hold volume button and start button at the same time, you'll get the usually massage "slide down to power off"
BUT don't do anything, just keep holding until the screen goes black and the phone vibrates, it will then restart very quickly.
