why there is no update for nokia lumia 820 yet ??

It might've failed due to a lack of memory, either reset ur phone b4 doing it or delete some apps but I'd reset it

My firmware download failed halfway through...I tried a few times. I will try again when I get home...if I can download the firmware I will update if it worked for me or not.

I was finally able to download the firmware on my PC and upgraded my phone I won't have time to play with everything until mid-week but everything seems ok so far. Thanks to everyone who let us know there was an ATT 1314 up on the Nokia servers (note: before upgrading I did do one final phone check and it still stated no new updates so not sure when ATT will send OTA).

I did another check today, and I finally managed to download an update through the options. It's currently updating right now, so I'm hoping there are no errors.

Edit: On update 1314 now, seems nothing went wrong so far.

Just check for updates on my AT&T 820 and it is in the process of downloading updates now.


Edit: Update downloaded and installed. It was indeed 1314 update!

I just updated my att 820 to 1314 as well. All I can say is its so, so good to finally have the storage check app. Brought back 2.5 GB from the other storage section that I have been in need of.

Hi Sanjay,

I just bought the Lumia 820 here in India and intalled NSU from your post. The phone is currently at 1308. When I connect to NSU, it says it can be updated to 1308, which the phone is already at. Even NCS is showing only 1308 for me. I have the RM 826 variant with product code - 059R4F3.

Is there something I am missing...

I updated my 820 via NSU for retail (India)

(Vodafone user btw)

These are the changes I got :
1.Storage Check in settings
2.Data Sense
3.I am getting HSPA+ signal on 3G mode
4.Scrubbing response on HD videos has improved a lot
5.Music Player is little fast

Problems :
None so far , Apps are getting updates , able to install apps through SD-card , backing up is fine , camera works fine.Everything is very nice.

Most importantly no bugs.

EDIT : For those who want to update , here's the installation software :
Nokia Software Updater for Retail 2.0.6.rar

Data will be wiped and u can easily restore it when phone restarts after update
