why windows 8.1 not installed in my lumia 520?

I just installed preview version 8.1 in lumia 520. It downloaded propely,data migraion sucessfully but after that i am unable get feactures of 8.1 like notication and all that. I check about phone from seting and it showing u are on lumia black 8.0.
what happen with me.
plz help me how to get it out.

How did you register for the developer preview?

When DEV preview went live MS released two updates, a small one and later the big one (8.1).
Check if you got both of them. Check for updates again.

If not, did you register for dev preview? Just installing the app won't do it.

To get 8.1 u need to update your phone two times.. The first update is very small after that.. Again check for updates then u wud get the wp 8.1 update

you need to update 2 times
first one is a minor update for easy migrating data to 8.1, second one is the windows phone 8.1

P.S.: IS WINDOWS PHONE 8.1

hey,am from sri lanka once my nokia lumia 520 got an update so i updated via wifi connection after the update completes it shows still w8 it s nt showing 8.1 how do i fix please help me

Did you not read the threads above? The first is small. Run the phone update again. The second one is a lot bigger.

Lumia Cyan is coming pretty soon but if you really want Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, I could help.

After registering for dev preview u hav to download preview for developers app ND hav to sign in dat app through ur developer account nd tick mark the check box to enable preview for developers
After dat go to ur settings check for phone updates wait for d first update to get finished
After dat recheck for phone updates dis one is larger then d previous one ND takes time to get installed

Dear brother today only the second update was released to Nokia Lumia 520 To Sri Lanka, so check your update to Cyan Update. Which is Windows 8.1 Update
