Why with my surface pro 4 the second screen resolution is low?

I need help. Why when the surface pro 4 (i5) is conncet with a second screen 24'' AOC G2460V with the miniDP to DP cable the resolution is very low?
When i select only screen 2 doens allow me to change the screen resolution.

most likely this is because the resolution of the secondary screen is less than your surface and hence it seems low quality
