Why won't my Nokia 735 charge?

Nokia 735 wont charge. when plugged in windows sign flashes white

I have had my phone since november and have had no issues until it died yesterday and wont turn back on or charge. When plugged into the mains the windows sign on the bottoms of the front of the screen flashes continuously.. I have tryed the soft reset and nothing. someone please help me. no phone sucks

Peel the back casing off, reseat the battery, and power on. If that doesn't work, try hard reset. If that doesn't work, use your warranty.
