Why won't twitter and the windows central app download?

Hello guys, I'm new to the Lumia phones. This is actually my first one (950) I'm trying to download twitter and windows central and neither of them are working. Is this the norm with apps???

Welcome, you made a good choice. Are you getting any error code. Check if this you're having the same problem as this guy.

Not getting an error message, oddly enough it's showing that I have downloaded the app but when I open it tells me to install it. Once I do that, I open it again and it tells me the same thing....install it.

Let me see if I understand you. You have those apps in the apps list, and when you open them it tells you to download them from the store.
If so, try uninstalling them. Then try installing again.

Yes. The apps show as being downloaded; however after that have shown to be downloaded and I open them, I'm was being told to down load them again. It looks like everything is okay now, thanks for your assistance. I've been with Blackberry for almost 11 years, so this new OS is going to take some time getting use too.
