WiFi or G3?

When I am at home, I can connect to my broadband network by turning on the WiFi radio on my Intrepid. If I do this, does the WiFi override the G3 and become the active internet connection?

Also, I have read that, by using WiFi, I actually save battery consumption. Is this true?

Yes the WIFI become the data connectoon as long as it has a strong signal and Is the faster connection. As for battery life not sure I don't think you save much verses 3G

Yes you do save on battery life. I can have my Intrepid streaming Pandora all day on wi-fi vs. a couple of hours using 3g.
