WiFi reconnect?

Hi everyone. Every time I turn on my 920, it seems like it is searching for the wifi connection. Is this normal? Sometimes it only takes a sec. Other times, it 10 secs or so. I would have thought that once it connected, it would stay connected. I'm worried that if I wake it up to do something, I may be using my cellular data instead.

Sorry to bring this news on you Steve, but WP shuts off WIFI 30 seconds after the phone sleeps. No setting to change it.

Research the iHeartRadio trick to keep WIFI ON.

Hmm. Thanks for the reply. What does it do when you have it set to retrieve email? I would hope it would reconnect before trying to perform any data transfer. Doesn't the searching/creating the connection use lots of power?

I think it does turn wifi every 2 hours to check email and such.
