WiFi turns itself on, and stops pandora

This is a combination issue. I noticed with my Lumia 920, that if it had a weak/poor WiFi signal, it would still try to use that, and apps would report a bad internet connection, even when the LTE signal was great.

This same thing seems to happen with my 950. Here at work, we have no WiFi. There are some nearby, but weak. If the phone latches on to one of them Pandora will report the internet connection is bad.

So, while at work I turn off WiFi. Problem solved, right? Wrong... WiFi turns itself back on from time to time.

What gives? Why can't it fallback to my LTE when WiFi is bad? Why does it turn WiFi back on on it's own? Should I report this to the Insider program?

Settings > Network and wireless > Wi-fi > Turn WiFi back on > Manually.

Yea, a while back my wifi kept turning on by itself. Then I realized that the wifi was set to turn on every hour. Not sure how it got changed to that but I changed it to turn on near my favorite places and it hasn't happened again

Oh, and wifi has to be off to see the options

Ahh... that'll fix the wifi coming on. I just wish the phone was smarter about getting an internet connection.
