Will a Lumia 822 Qi charging pad work in an 810 battery back cover ?

I'm in need of a new Qi charging pad for my 810 back up phone,
does anyone know if the Qi pad from an 822
charging shell line up with the contact points once I remove it and fit it to the 810 shell ?

It will not. As the contacts are in completely different places.

Why does it matter were the pins are inside? Isn't Qi charging a universal standard? Could you turn the phone sideways on a different charging pad?

I don't think its unreasonable to think the pad pinouts are different... My concern now though, is making the coil assembly fit.

Yup I can charge my 920 sideways I believe.
