Will a new digitizer work with WP8.1?

A couple of months ago, I dropped my Lumia 520 and the glass cracked (it's still usable, though, screen and digitizer are working fine). I went to a repair shop and they were going to charge me 200 reais (about US$ 100) to replace the digitizer, so I decided to order a cheap replacement from a chinese online store. It finally arrived and I intend to replace it tomorrow. However, I read some reports that cheap digitizers stopped working with the Amber update. Does anybody know if they work with WP8.1?

Honestly this is something you're likely going to need to try this yourself to find out. Worse comes to worse you know you can always reconnect the screen that you've currently got and pay for the more expensive replacement you spoke about.

It worked, but the digitizer isn't very good. Could somebody tell me where I can buy an original digitizer or at least a good replacement?
