Will your pre-sale'd Lumia 1020 ship tomorrow?

So I am getting very excited about replacing my N8 with the Lumia 1020, the projected ship date was tomorrow. I ordered it on the opening presale date at 7:30 that evening from At&t. Unfortunately my expectation are very low, this is At&t after all. What do you guys think? Will Nokia and At&t disappoint and only ship out a handful of the phones that were pre-sale'd or will they thrill their customers and actually deliver what they promised?

I say yes on the AT&T orders. No on the MS preorders. Those will probably go out Friday.

My order status from AT&T is still in processing. I will be checking it about 20 times today to see if it changes. :smile:

After all the trouble I went through trying to try to get a preorder from Microsoft and their broken Simplexity partners, it will be interesting to see if my order ships. It is currently processing and my credit card has been preauthorized, but I have three different addresses associated with the order. The AT&T account is my dad's, the shipping address is my work, and the billing address is my home. So it's going to be a very interesting couple days watching for that shipping notice.

My order with AT&T states that this is a pre-order item and should ship on or around the 23rd, which is tomorrow. Crossing my fingers.

Can anyone here see the order under their AT&T "My orders" tab? Mine hasn't showed up there since right after I placed it. I can still look it up by order number manually, but there's no record of it under my account.

Mine does show up under the "my orders' tab. The only thing weird about mine is my CC doesn't show a pending charge.

Ordered mine from MS store, so I don't expect it to ship until Friday. I can wait seeing as I get a free camera grip.

Mines was ordered from MS store as well. Order status still shows "pending for carrier approval" since I am upgrading the phone. However my CC account shows pending charge already. Anyone see "carrier approved"?

Don't you think it's funny how we all waited so long for the 1020 to be officially announced and now we can't wait a extra few days for our phones? My wife is sick of hearing me talk about it, im like a little kid at Xmas!

Especially when you consider the fact that it's really just a 920 with a modified 808 lens. Don't get me wrong, I want the camera. I ordered the phone, but I feel like they could have made a little more effort to make it the flagship it could have been. A 1080p screen would have been nice.

Blasphemy! Lol... We also get an extra gb of ram and amoled display. A fresh significantly thinner redesign as well (although we do lose the built in wireless charging which I loved on the 920. Wouldn't mind the 1080 screen though. Have it on my HTC One and GS4.

im pretty ok with it being the same as a 920, im still using a focus with 7.8. The camera and software for it has me floored though. So nice to have all the controls of a real camera and im really excited that it has up to 4 sec shutter times.

I'm with you. It's going to be hard for me to go back to a 720p screen after using three different phones with 1080p for so long. I'm all for more RAM, but I'm not even sure why we need it on Windows phone. I suppose it could help with the photo/video processing on this beast. Honestly, I would have rather they left it a little thicker and kept the wireless charging. That was one of the coolest things about the Lumia 920. I'm sure I'll have to buy the wireless back as soon as it's available.

Yellow 1020 ordered with ATT on 7/16 has shipped as of 7pm tonight. Coming by 1230pm thursday.
