Windows 10 Mobile build 10581 battery and app problems

Hello,

After upgrading to the current build (10581) on my Nokia Lumia 625 I had two problems:

1) My battery drains. In 4h standby (!) my full battery died and my device heats up like a cooking plate
2) The windows store found some updates for a couple apps (some windows apps like messaging) but they keep "pending"

I tried this:
For issue 1)
Battery use-> background apps and disable almost all of them
Disable automatic time adjustment
The battery usage diagrams show that no battery has been used the last 24 hours
For issue 2)
Disable wifi
Try another wifi network
Disable automatic time adjustment

Can it be that the two issues are connected? I couldn't find anything for issue 1 and tried everything i found for issue 2?

I have found the problem. It seems to be my SD card. After removing the SD card al the problems were gone

Have you tried 10586 yet? Wondering about putting my wife's 625 to Windows 10 now

It would appear there's a bug in the Messaging + Skype app that causes severe battery drain. I have it on my 920 (on 10581 and now 10586, both with hard resets), and others on this site have confirmed this as well.

The more I read, the more I find that this bug seems to be hit and miss. Some people have it, some people don't.
