Hi guys,

I remember Windows mobile 8.1 had this feature where it would read the name of the caller. Where can I find this on my Windows 10 mobile settings?

Lumia 640 DS LTE - Windows 10 production build .218

under settings -> ease of access I have
  • narrator
  • magnifier
  • high contrast
  • closed captions
  • more options

region & language set to US

I have a Lumia 950 dual SIM. It seems that unlike WP8.1 windows 10 will not recognize only partial number from the contact list!!
If the number is registered in the contacts list (People) as +yyy xxxxxxxx and the caller ID from the service provider is sent as 0xxxxxxxx then the phone will not show the callers name even if he is included in "People". It is also possible that W10 checks to match more digits than WP8.1

If the service provider sends the full number with the country code then the name will be displayed.

This is a problem in a number of countries and I do not know if there is a work-around to solve it. No one wants to register every number twice in two different formats.

Did you find a solution yet?

nope, is this setting under cortana now? I just want cortana to read the name while I'm on my headset

Did you look in "More options"? That's where it's showing in the preview builds now.
