Haven't seen anyone talking about this feature...

Is Microsoft going to implement a feature where, on the multi tasking screen, we can press a button or perform a gesture that will close ALL apps???

Closing an app one by one when you have several open is a tiring task.

Well, you shouldn't have to worry about that anyway in day to day usage so I'm wouldn't expect it.

I hope so. I'm a heavy user and have to go back and close apps constantly. If I don't I get a warning and my 1520 reboots itself. So it would be a VERY useful and welcome feature.

what kind of warning?
that's not exactly normal operation you know.

I would love that feature, TBH. But I don't think it's comming unless we suggest it.

I just go to multi tasking screen and slide them down and off the screen, super fast takes a few seconds

Or you can just reboot the phone.

MS doesn't necessarily do features on how OCD soothing they are necessarily.

I have to agree. It comes down to usage habits.

Even on my 1520 which is no schlump, I am in the habit of long tapping back and closing Apps in muti-task view which I don't need in the background. I just don't believe in letting that stuff stack up. It's not all that time consuming.

It's like housework: if you let the dusting, vacuuming and dirty dishes go too long your house is a terrible mess and the thought of getting it all done is daunting. If you work at parts of it every day, then the major cleanup time is minimal when it comes around.

There's actually a feature request on the Insider app feedback thread (in the app itself, I mean) for the Close all apps feature. Honestly, I UpVoted this. Also suggested that Edge would Close all tabs on exit as a setting. I don't know about ocd, but it saves extra steps for things one uses all the time.

I don't kill apps. I just don't bother this thing. I let the system take care of it. nevertheless w10m let you accumulate 15 apps for most. "rubbish" inside the phone's memory won't stack indefinitely.
