Sorry for slow comeback. I did the soft reset on one phone - both are Lumia 735 - still Edge will not open. so I did not bother on the other one.
It isn´t the end of the World with Edge as I use the Google app as a browser - it appears to load up Edge.
So it is the app tile that is the problem.

When are you going to pour some of that R & D money into marketing money?

I'm starting to really get sick and tired of apps only being available for IOS and Android.

It would be REALLY NICE if Bill Gates would pour some MARKETING MONEY into PROMOTING the Windows 10 mobile platform to increase its MARKET SHARE so that maybe users can START GETTING SOME DAMMED APPS.

Brian, what phones are they? I have two Lumia 650's on this ring, one Lumia 635 on this ring and a Lumia 650 on fast ring. My 635 with only 512 ram will have to try couple times once and a while to load and all of them on heavily ad infested sites will reload the page couple times then crash with messages that site cannot be found or something like that.
But none of that is common, just on occasion.

I too had the same problem with Lumia 635 (512 MB), if you would like to get rid of it; just change the Virtual memory from 256MB to 1024.

If you want you can read my complete experience on this link -

512 GB ram would be a monster phone, considering my 950 only has 3GB of ram. it's MB

updating the phone right now.

Just noticed something interesting and wanted to share it with you guys.
So My phone was at 6.25GB on internal memory before downloading the update; once downloaded the update it was at 6.31GB. so the update size is 60MB.

The installation started and it filled till 6.8GB and once the updated was installed and prompted to restart it came back to 6.67GB.
Great to see UUP at work. :P

the total internal memory required was approx 550MB.
Currently phone is updating at gear symbol.

Noticed something in the Settings> Phone update page - there is a blank space above 'Update Status' which wasn't there before the CU today

same for me, earlier it was showing - "some settings are managed by your organization"

Yes that showed up initially on my phone too in the blank space in yellow letters.
Edit - It went after a soft reset and the blank space appeared.

After the latest update (14393.953) i think that Facebook or other apps dont crash that often and are more snappier,or maybe is a Placebo Effect. :D

sweet, I was just thinking past few days that my my 950xl needed a new patch. Was getting some odd behaviour in notifications and battery life... These patches tend to help you start fresh again then gets bogged down over time lol.
