How do you do a hard reset? Do you mean with the windows phone recovery tool? Cause if that's the case, why would you even update to .164? WDRT gets your phone to 8.1...
I don't get it how you get the same battery life as before, I really feel the difference between w10 and 8.1.... I have the latest available firmware and software 10568.164(forgive me if I haven't written all the numbers well).
Hope you like it![]()
How about other storage issue, did MS fix it with w10m?
So, xap files are removed thoroughly rather than increasing the megabyte count, right? BTW, i recently Hard reset my wp8.1 twice after i ran into huge consumption of storage by other storage. No, this is now what you call- System and reserved.
The upgrade advisor on my US Verizon 735 is now saying that they are working with my carrier to provide W10 to my phone.
Mike
As is mine now. I guess we can call this a sign of progress, albeit slow progress.
yep knowing verzion and how slow they are with software updates
Any updates on the Windows 10 update for Verizon's 735? One person in my family is due for an upgrade and within the next few days they'll be switching from their Lumia Icon to the 735. Yeah I know it's quite the downgrade, but for specific reasons, they cannot wait so it's either go with the 735 or leave Windows Phone and most likely switch to a Galaxy S7 and so on. Anyways, if Windows 10 is already available or coming soon, that'd be great and make the phone more worthwhile to get.
I honestly haven't checked in several weeks, but I'd be shocked if it will be coming out soon. Verizon is historically slow with updates.
I'm a little hopeful since they were the first and quickest with the Denim update.
True about Denim, but recall that Verizon completely skipped the Cobalt update that came right before Denim. EVERYbody else got Cobalt while we Verizon folks waited and waited and waited.... And Verizon was silent. Eventually they said, "Yeah, we're just gonna go ahead and wait for Denim."

D'oh! You're absolutely right - it was Cyan.It was actually called the Cyan update but yeah you're right.
