what microsoft needs to do, is allow any app to tie into the people app via some sort of hook, simply put, WP8.0 hubs were very bad, they were neat on paper, but they failed horribly for upkeeping, since they require OS updates to update anytime something got changed, thats why the app model was chosen over hubs. BUT micrsoft can mimic the hubs concept by allowing apps to tie into apps that used to be hubs, if this were done, I think it brings out a best of both worlds kind of thing, example, imagine if this worked for the messenger app? what if any app could ask for permission to hook in, imagine using IM+ hooked through the messenger, never needing to open the app, or whatsapp, I get the feeling microsoft has this as a long term goal, and I really hope I'm right, it would really make hubs work and shine the way microsoft originally visioned!
