Windows 10 store crashes everytime.. "Server Stumbled"

already tried time zone changing, won't wok (again). Then I did the erasing the cache of the store app folder thing, and it worked only once. the "server stumbled" error is appearing again and again, I've tried everything but wont work. If anyone has a sollution other than the ones mentioned before, I would appreciate it greatly.

Just made an Account to say that it worked for me :)

I have no such folder path, either under my name (no AppData) or Admin (which does but no such Local folder) - I'd love to use the Windows Store, sigh.

Its hidden by Default, Try entering this replacing username:

C:/users/user_name/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Thanks a lot, but i already tried that and it only worked the first time, afterwards the same error appears again and again, no matter how many times I go to that Local cache folder and erase all the folders and files in it. And as I already said, the changing time zone wont work.

Heyyy i solved this problem by activating Windows Update Services. Maybe your windows update is disabled. Follo these steps:

1. Press start button or windows button + r or just search run and click it
2. Then type services and press enter
3. Look for windows Update right click and select properties
4. then in startup type select automatic
5. click on apply then you should be able to start the service

once you enabled windows update the app store is back on!!

PD: if you can`t open services with run tool (my situation -.-)
then just search services or you could seacrh administrative tools and then services.

hope it works :smile::smile:

Same thing here the problem is not solved with this :( All my apps still crash at launch since the build 10240 :s

All drivers are updated :( when i try to format the computer say there is a mistake and come back to where it begined !!

Try all the above listed methods first and if none of them work, try this one.

Open powershell as an administrator (hit windows key, type 'powershell', right click on the result and click run as admin).

Copy and paste the following command in the powershell and hit 'enter'.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Let it do its thing for a few minutes. Once complete, try opening the store again.

I did. It didn't stay open again. I am tried of trying scary fixes I fear will break other things, here and at the MS answers forums. I'm hoping this is a pervasive enough issue they will do a FIX - or at least a statement. If anyone finds a story on the Web POST-launch (not earlier builds) that addresses the issue please advise. Otherwise I guess I'm just fine with not downloading more Win10 apps, as long as update is working - and it appears so - I will focus on my work and the parts of Win10 that are working!

My problem is a bit different..... Plz help..... Im using win 10 ... The store opens fine and i can see all the apps loading ... but the moment i click on any app the store closes immediately.... otherwise it don't close..... anyone else has same problem??

For me on Windows 10 mobile, I click on the store, the blue loading screen comes but then it crashes -- even after multiple soft resets.
