Windows 10 update didnt go through on Lumia 730

I tried installing the Windows 10 technical build 10166 on my Lumia 730...originally at windows 8.1(latest update)....the error i was getting is that the phone was trying to install the update on the sd card...and it didnt go through....i dont understand why the phone was installing the update on my sd card insead of the phone memory.........i would also like to knw how much minimum phone meory is required to install the build

My kind advice don't try this build in 730 its the most buggy than any other builds
Although everyone says it's good one it's my personal opinion with 10 10166 build it makes my phone irresponsive after a call tried several reset but no use
