Windows 7 Home basic 64-bit Vs Windows 10 64-Bit performance on same hardware config.

I have Sony Vaio VPCEA23EN Core i3 processor 2.26GHz, 3GB RAM and 512 Mb ATI Graphics card.
Will the PC continue to perform same or better as it does with windows 7 Home basic 64-bit for all applications which I use smoothly on current hardware.

Nobody can really know that. Evidence would only be anecdotal at best as I highly doubt anyone else has replicated your exact setup AND uses all the same programs AND has the same usage habits that you have.

In general I would assume that the more modern OS is going to be more powerful and efficient. Certainly it will be supported longer into the future. Your hardware is modern enough to run it for sure.
