Yes the Nokia Lumia 520 will get the Windows Phone 8.1 update as it was shown at the Build 2014 keynote. Although a few features would be missing not sure which. So don't worry wait for a few months and the updates will be OTA (over the air).

nd initially april 10 is d date for wp8.1 update

I am pretty sure that no phones will get the 8.1 upgrade for WP8 for several months. While 8.1 has been released it was only for the new phones getting ready to be released (630, 635, and 930) and they are not on the market yet. The only upgrade I see was the just released (April 8th) Windows 8.1 upgrade 1 which is for computers. ( I just downloaded it for my two desktops). If I were you I would not get my hopes up for getting WP8.1 before late May or June at the earliest. I could be wrong; but I don't think so. Its controlled by the carriers and they are in no hurry to push it out.

Dude that's what Dev preview is for, and that's what's coming to every single Windows phone next week and we all will get wp 8.1

Nope, sorry. The phone is actually ran by a forked over version of Apple's iOS, so getting the 8.1 update isn't possible.

All joking aside; yes, you'll be getting 8.1. Here's an article for any further info.
